Susan Poulton from little Waltham has had an indunction taken out against her by the Police and county council staff in Chelmsfrod
It's after a string of convictions for purse thefts in the town.

A railway worker who was seriously injured whilst working on overhead power lines near Chelmsford last month has died
The man was one of 3 workers who were hurt when the metal basket of a hoist fell away from its hydraulic arm at Margaretting
Network Rail has withdrawn similar machines from use - there'll also soon be an investigation into the accident.

Plans for Southend United's new 20, 000 seater stadium have been given go ahead.
They've received planning permission for the site and building work will begin immediately.
It's expected the new ground will be ready for use in 2011.

Meanwhile, rubbish collection's stepping up a gear in Southend.
The council's cleaning contractor's have agreed to some new tactics in cleaning up the town's streets.
Among the new ideas there's a proposal to offer to collect our old furniture.

An opera with a difference is happening in Maldon tonight.
It's Dido and Aeneas and it's being performed pupils from the Plume school.
They've never put on an opera before - although they've sung in the chorus for local opera company Handmade Opera.
